Aday4X-ELWS-X2
uPC is the integrated target board of Aday Technology Inc., based on Atmel® R408XX series main board, integrated ARM 32bit processer, extended I/O from SODIMM module, on-board 4MB Flash ROM, 8MB PSRAM, CS8900A chip for supporting Ethernet functions, and ported uClinux OS (Linux 2.4.X) on-board. All elements within uPC meet industrial standards and can be applied to a wide range of applications: nearly all types of electronic devices for industrial machines, network applications, and medical instruments that require high stability and low-power consumption. An extended I/O board installed on uPC includes: one RJ45 network port, two COM ports, two 16-bit GPIO (General Purpose I/O), and one JTAG port (connect to Aday-EICE for easy hardware/software debugging); with LCD, touch panel, and CF™ mass storage card support. The extended I/O board, besides extending peripheral functions, also has the pin-headers of the system bus laid out, which enables users to customize their hardware modules and integrate onto the main board to fit the users' needs. Aday's special Power Management Technology (including RTC function), besides one-touch system on/off function, also protects the system against data-loss when power failure occurs. Aday4X-uPC is, nevertheless, a highly stablized, low-power consumption industrial PC specially suits the needs of nearly all kinds of industries.

Aday4X is the core module that utilizes ARM processer and uClinux OS (Linux 2.4.X). All hardware elements statisfy industrial standards to improve the stability of the system. Combined with Aday's special Power Management Technology (< 1W), suitable for a wide range of applications for nearly all kinds of industries, medical instruments, hand-held equipments, etc. Aday Technology Inc. provides two special techniques to improve efficiency of the system:

2k7A-Pad, a carrying away mini laptop designed for the travelers and it fulfills the requirements of lightweight, high performance and low cost. The preinstalled functional softwares provide the convenience on the documents editing, media playback and more.
